View detailsShahd Joint Stock Company ( Khoy Sugar Factory) was licensed by the private sector in 1345 with the aim of building a sugar factory from sugar beet, and it was put into operation in 1347.
Its nominal capacity in the year of construction was 1500 tons of beets per day and it is currently operating with 4500 tons of beets.
The devices and equipment of khoy sugar factory have been technically updated during the operation of the past years and currently the best technology is used for sugar production and the development plans of the factory are being implemented; With their completion, the capacity of Khoi sugar factory will increase.
Khoy sugar factory is located 5 km from Khoi-Tabriz road and in front of Saeed Abad. The area of the factory is about 45 hectares and in terms of construction and facilities, it has about 43000 square meters.
